About Škatula

I grew up in Selca on the island of Brač, surrounded by Mediterranean nature — olive trees, almonds, carob, citrus, figs and lavender. Those scents, flavours and traditions shaped my approach to pastry-making and became the foundation of everything I create today.

Over the years I have developed signature desserts inspired by local ingredients and Mediterranean heritage, blending tradition with modern pastry techniques. In every dessert I strive for a balance of flavour, technical precision and a story that comes from the landscape that shaped me.

From that idea came the concept of Škatula Mediterana — a collection of desserts inspired by the island of Brač and Mediterranean culture. Each product carries its own identity and interpretation of local flavours through a contemporary pastry expression.

Zlatna Škatula is dedicated to the reinterpretation of classic Mediterranean and Dalmatian desserts. These are desserts that evoke nostalgia, yet leave an impression of contemporary elegance and exceptional craftsmanship.

My goal is to create desserts that carry a piece of the Mediterranean through taste, connecting local identity, tradition and the art of contemporary fine pastry.
